BOOKING PAYMENT

A non refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your wedding date with your chosen stylist. This is redeemed off of your final wedding balance, so no extra cost is incurred. This is payable by BACS payment directly to Amanda White Hair and Makeup Professionals.

 

TRIALS

Trial payments are to be paid directly to the stylist and are non-refundable. If you are un-happy with the service after having had your trial, then you have 1 week from the date of the trial to let me know if you wish to proceed with the booking.

Payments are to be paid either by BACS directly to your stylist ahead of the trial day or cash on the day.

 

FINAL WEDDING PAYMENTS

Final balance payments are due 1 week after your trial if proceeding with the booking. Trials should be booked before 8 weeks of the wedding date. If booked less than 8 weeks before the wedding, 50% of the total wedding booking will be charged and will be non-refundable ahead of the trial booking. After the trial the remaining 50% will be invoiced and should be paid before the wedding date.

 

For those who have booked with less than 8 weeks of their wedding date. We expect 50% of the booking total to be paid as a deposit this is non-refundable. The remaining 50% will be invoiced after your trial if booked before 3 weeks of your wedding.

 

If your booking has been booked less than 3 weeks before your wedding, or your trial is booked less than 3 weeks before your wedding, then the final wedding balance is to be paid in full regardless of if you have had a trial or not. Final wedding balances must be paid 3 weeks before the wedding date. Unless a cash payment has been agreed ahead of the wedding day.

 

For those who are not requiring a trial your final wedding balance is due at 8 weeks before the wedding date.

 

Final Balance payments are due by bank transfer unless a cash payment has been agreed. No refunds are given under any circumstances including if you should unfortunately have to cancel your wedding. In these cases, full payment shall be retained.

 

Final balance payments are to be paid directly to your chosen stylist – Amanda White Professionals will send you an invoice with your stylist’s bank details.

 

 

POSTPONEMENTS

Should you need to postpone your wedding due to unforeseen circumstances (Venue going out of business, pandemic, bereavements, accidents, health problems) Then provided you can give evidence and provided your new date is within a year of your date booked originally then any deposits, trial fees and final balances will be transferred across to your new date dependent on Amanda White and team’s availability.  If we are unavailable, then I am afraid all balances will be retained.

 

BOOKING POLICY

If you have booked your wedding date on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday between March and October, we do have a minimum booking policy of 6 services (can be split between hair or makeup) one must include a bride. Please bear that in mind should your numbers change throughout the booking process.

Any Bride only hair and makeup bookings which are out of the times specified above will be charged at £330 plus an additional £50 fee. Trial fees are paid separately.

 

We do ask that all numbers in your party be confirmed before you make your final wedding day/ final balance payment. If numbers increase, then an assistant may be needed. Assistants I charge at £130 if numbers exceed over 6 services or your ceremony time is very early (11am or earlier). If numbers decrease after you have made your final wedding payment, payment is retained, as it is non-refundable. Refunds for assistants will only be given if they are no longer needed. In instances where you need to be ready early, meaning that the stylist would need to start before 6am then a charge of £100 will be added onto the booking.  Please do contact me if it is in any way difficult to pay in full and I will see what I can do. 

 

ADDITIONAL HOURS

Should you wish your stylist to stay for a touch up/ re-style this needs to be agreed before paying your final wedding balance. We need to know the number of hours the stylist would be staying for, or time we are needed to be back by. We charge £40 per hour per stylist for any hours stayed or not able to work before coming back.

 

TRAVEL COSTS

Travel costs are charged at 0.50p per mile if journey exceeds a 20-mile round trip from the postcode of your stylist.

 

Parking and congestion charges where applicable will be charged to you the client and you will be notified of this prior to you making your final balance payment.

 

If an assistant is present on your booking and your wedding is further than 100 miles (round trip) then an additional fee of £50 will be charged to you the client. If it is further than 100 miles, then their full travel fees will be charged to you the client.

 

LOCATION MOVE

 where we must start in one location and move to another. We charge an additional £50 per stylist as a location move fee due to the time it takes to pack and unpack our kits.

 

DESTINATION WEDDINGS

A fee of £150 for each travel day per stylist will be charged to you the client. All flights, transfers, luggage, accommodation will be charged to you the client. A dinner fee of £20 will also be added for each day and per stylist.

 

OVERNIGHT STAYS

If your wedding is further than 1.5-hour drive away from your stylist they would need to stay overnight to be with you the morning of the wedding, this would have been mentioned to you at the quote stage. The fee of the accommodation will be charged to you the client. We also charge a £20 dinner fee for each stylist on the booking to cover the cost of a meal.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If you should have to cancel your wedding and you have paid in full, I am afraid all fees will be retained due to the stylist turning away other work and holding your date for you.

 

 If your stylist must cancel at any time or is unable to perform her duties for any reason, Amanda White Professionals will make every possible effort to identify a suitable alternative as soon as practicable from the team. If no team member is available, we will try to source from outside Amanda White professionals and then you the client is then responsible for booking and paying for that artist in accordance with their own service terms and conditions. The wedding day fee will be refunded to the client.
