Hair and makeup styles - where to start with what to pick? I know it can feel very overwhelming to begin with. Trying to visualise what will look great on you. My number one thing is for you to still feel like you, but with a bit more sparkle and finesse. It is after all your wedding day! With my 15 years in industry I have built up quite an array of looks within my whole portfolio. But I want to showcase to you what I love and enjoy creating most. I can however curate looks just for you, perhaps bringing a bit of each to create your dream hair or makeup. Communication and being on the same page is key, always happy to have a call before booking to see if our ideas and styles align. Hairstyling
Loose, soft and romantic hairstyling is what I love creating most. Whether it be for your wedding or a special event, I think the right hairstyle can really set the tone to how you feel and carry yourself. Most importantly you want your chosen hairstyle to last all day, we want those curls to still swish on that dance floor, and that is where my expertise comes in. I understand hair types, and what products go hand in hand with that. And all whilst prepping your hair, I like to create a fun & calm environment - like you're sat with an old friend, so you can relax and feel comfortable. The hard part is picking a hairstyle. Makeup
Glowing, long lasting and natural makeup is what I love creating most. I love playing with tones, to make makeup look seamless. Lots of fluffy lash and subtle sculpting of shadows can really make your eyes pop, I guess you could call this my signature style. Its so important to me that my clients still feel authentically themselves, just a little more polished. Whether it's your wedding or a special event, you want your makeup to last, and thats where my expertise comes into play. I have tried and tested products to work with your skin type, to enable you to look fresh through heat, sweat and emotions without feeling cake-y or heavy. I always say to my clients that images are hard to gather for makeup, as no-one has your face, but it can help to find tones you like. Hair and Makeup
Having both hair & makeup is the ultimate beauty experience isn't it? I love that I offer both services, and I often feel I would be lost if I didn't do both. I really love creating a whole look for my clients. I think my overall styling is quite romantic, natural and soft in both makeup and hair, which I think compliment each other massively. I feel most of my clients are looking for a natural approach to hair & makeup, but in a soft & glamorous way. Not overly "done" but simplicity at its most flattering. My approach to any event, whether it be a wedding or a special event, I always have my clients comforts at the heart of what I create. You need to feel authentically you, whilst feeling confident and a million dollars. Its a beautiful balance.
