Bridal Hair & Makeup at Wasing Park: A Romantic Spring Wedding in Berkshire

Back in March, I had the pleasure of working with the loveliest bride Georgia for her wedding at the stunning Wasing Park, a dream venue nestled in the heart of Berkshire. Georgia was recommended to me by her two sisters-in-law, Elyse and Chloe, after my team and I had the pleasure of doing the hair and makeup for both of their weddings.

We first met a few months before the wedding when Georgia came to my studio in Tadworth, Surrey, for her trial. Unsure at first about which hairstyle to go for, we experimented with a couple of options – a softly waved half-up style and a sleek ponytail. Both looked gorgeous on her, but nearer the day she decided on the ponytail – a low, softly waved style adorned with delicate floral accessories. It suited her modern-yet-romantic look perfectly.

For her makeup, we kept things timeless with a soft glam eye using Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk quad and some seriously gorgeous Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex eyeshadow towards the inner eye in shade Cressida, I love using this product near the tear duct to add that extra pop and glow to the eye. Her glowing, radiant skin was created by my trusted Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (use code LFTFAMANDAW at checkout for a cheeky 20% discount!) topped with Charlotte Tilbury's Pinkgasm Beauty Light Wand – giving a pop of shimmery pink tones which is ideal for a spring wedding. The look complemented her dress beautifully and held up wonderfully throughout the day (and night!).

On the morning of the wedding, we started at Kitts Cottage which is on site at Wasing park. A beautiful space, and perfect for having your bridal hair and makeup for a spring wedding .Georgia and her bridesmaids stayed here the night before. Me, Hannah and Alessia from my team started the beauty prep here before travelling later that morning across to the honeymoon suite at Wasing Park. We had a beautifully spacious bridal suite which was brilliant for catering Georgia's four bridesmaids, mum, and her brother’s girlfriend, it was a lively and love-filled morning. My team and I pride ourselves on being able to cater to larger bridal parties, and this was a perfect example of the magic we can create together.

The bridesmaids each had peach-toned makeup to tie in with their dresses – soft, flattering shades that worked beautifully on all skin tones. In terms of hair, most went for half-up, sleek waved styles, while one bridesmaid opted for a high, playful up-do for something a little more fun. Georgia's mum Navinda chose a classic hair-up style with soft, face-framing pieces, while keeping her makeup glowing, natural and radiant.

It was a joy to work alongside photographer Lauren Mitchell, who captured the day so beautifully. Her photos perfectly showcase not just the stunning venue and stylish details, but also the love and happiness that filled every moment.
