Pearls for me resemble elegance, royalty and femininity. They have been around for centuries never really going out of fashion. A timeless gem which can change a look instantly to “oh so Chanel”… Wedding dresses and pearls go hand in hand they scream sophistication and attention to detail so why not wear them in your hair?

Herrera often features pearls in her dress designs and during her Spring 2015 collection they were seen in the hair. Carolina loves a simple French twist like the above or a low chignon looped bun. To accentuate this style Carolina used beautiful one off pearls  -She found these in an antique store I think this looks so gorgeous and playful. The trick to this look is to keep the hair looking smooth and sleek.  Use frizz reducing products such as “L’oreal Techni Art Liss control Serum” use this to eliminate any fly aways.

If your opting for a more relaxed, bohemian and romantic hairstyle then something like this gorgeous Viktoria Novak’s pearl embellished flower crown may suit your tastes.

This would sit beautifully with some plaits or twists which are EVERYWHERE at the moment. It is statement yet not too flashy.

Another one of Viktoria Novak’s creations seen in her spring 2015 collection I think works perfectly if you are thinking of wearing your hair down. Its very “Gatsby” inspired, which is featured heavily throughout Australian Based Viktoria’s designs – she loves the 1920’s. This super shiny, loosely waved hairstyle is very on trend seen frequently a la miss Kate Middleton or Amal Alamuddin (George Clooney’s new wife) these styles would work perfectly with a similar pearl hairpiece like this.

Now where do I begin when I mention “Pronovias” with 50 years in the business and covering over 105 countries worldwide they are the Spanish Queen of exquisite detailing and frequently use the “pearl”.

This one is more for the brave but I love the detailing! I think a more simplistic dress is needed for this one. I love how the piece comes to life with a swept back up-do but I think if you wanted to make it more feminine and romantic it would work just as well with your hair down with a Rita Hayworth blow dry.
